The PRO•PRUNER & PRO•SPRAY
require very little maintenance, however the care tips below will help ensure longlasting performance.

The PRO•PRUNER™ is protected by a five-year limited warranty except for
the blade. Following are tips to enable you to get the most out of your
PRO•PRUNER:

  1. When storing the PRO•PRUNER, always close the trigger, wrap the lanyard around the trigger and handle, and secure by looping the end of the lanyard over the end of the handle. This will keep the blade covered to avoid any accidental injury.

  2. A replacement blade is available for the PRO•PRUNER. If the existing blade is damaged or dulled, the blade may be changed.

  3. No further maintenance is required, outside of normal care as with any garden tool. The PRO•PRUNER is designed for years of care-free use.

The PRO•SPRAY™ is protected by a ten-year limited warranty, however like all other fine products cannot be expected to function properly without a certain degree of care. We recommend that the following basic steps be taken by you to insure its proper functioning:
  1. A great many insecticide ingredients are of such nature that they leave a gummy or caking residue. It is very important that after each use the sprayer be cleaned. You should pump kerosene, mineral spirits or warm water through the sprayer.

  2. After cleaning, a light alcohol-based oil should be applied to the plunger in sufficient quantity to permit it to work down into the cup washer. All you need to do after the oil is applied is work the plunger in and out several times. This will keep the leather cup washer pliable, and keep your sprayer at peak efficiency, and afford smooth operation the next time you use it.

  3. For storing the sprayer: Simply place two (2) nails hooks in a horizontal position and lay metal parts across. Suggest placing nails approximately 4 1/2 to 4 3/4 feet from the floor to permit weight to rest on the floor, thereby taking strain off the hose, or as an alternative you can detach the hose.
